Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi is a proud sponsor of the Women’s Forum Global Meeting, the world’s leading platform featuring women’s voices on major social and economic issues. This year’s Global Meeting of the Women’s Forum was held in Paris November 15 – 16, and attended by more than 2,000 delegates at high-level plenaries and discussions.
As the pioneer and worldwide leader of electric vehicle sales with more than 660,000 units sold, the Alliance provided a fleet of 20 electric and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles for delegate-shuttles between key venues. The fleet included the Mitsubishi Outlander, the Renault Zoe, the Nissan LEAF and more.
Stephane Bouet, Team Lead & Research Manager for Alliance Connected Vehicles, participated in a panel focused on total inclusion of Artificial Intelligence.
The Alliance member companies are committed to promoting and empowering women in the workplace, and recently outlined the following commitments:
• Nissan set a global goal to have 16% of women in management positions by 2023.
• Renault set an objective to have 27.5% of women in key leadership positions by the end of 2019.
• Mitsubishi Motors formulated an action plan to promote women’s advancement and set a goal of 100 women working at management level by the end of fiscal 2020.
