Alliance Senior Vice President, Light Commercial Vehicles
Denis Le Vot serves as Alliance Senior Vice President in charge of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV). In this role, he oversees the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi LCV business, which includes vans, pickups, frame SUVs, and light-duty trucks.
Mr. Le Vot, who assumed this position on April 1, 2019, will lead the Alliance in expanding LCV market leadership under a single business organization, unleashing the full potential of Renault, Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors. The Alliance aims to achieve this growth through leveraging complementary products and markets to drive synergies across its member companies. The business is focused on meeting the rapidly evolving needs of the commercial sector, where electrification, autonomy, and connectivity are driving the future.
Mr. Le Vot first joined Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. in January 2018 as Senior Vice President and Chairman, Nissan North America. Before becoming a part of the Nissan team, Mr. Le Vot spent 27 years at Groupe Renault.
Since joining Renault in 1990, he has held multiple positions as a quality engineer in overseas operations and in aftersales. Additionally, he served as new cars marketing and sales director in Turkey; vice president, marketing and sales for the Eurasia region; chief operating officer of Renault Russia; and vice president, sales and marketing for Europe/G9. In 2016, he was appointed senior vice president and chairman of the Eurasia region, with the main markets of Russia, Turkey and Romania. He was appointed to the Renault Management Committee in 2015 and to the Board of Directors of AVTOVAZ in 2016.
Mr. Le Vot holds a master’s degree in engineering from the École des Mines de Paris.
