Alliance Senior Vice President, Aftersales
Kent O’Hara is Alliance Senior Vice President, Aftersales. In this role, he leads a team responsible for parts and accessories development utilizing the Up Stream Function Team (USFT) process and adoption of cross-company best practices to derive economies of scale in Purchasing, Parts Supply & Logistics and Inventory Management. In addition, he leads the various All Parts companies, which is the newest AfterSales growth area for the Alliance companies.
Mr. O’Hara joined Nissan North America in 2008 as Sales & Marketing Director, holding various management positions in the organization. In 2013, he was appointed Senior Director of Aftersales Sales and Marketing for the U.S. and Canada. In 2014, he was named Vice President, Aftersales. Mr. O’Hara was appointed Corporate Vice President, Global Aftersales Division (Japan) and Global Conversion Accessory Division.
Mr. O’Hara began his career in 1990 as Senior Manager at Honda Motor Co. America. In 2000, he joined Ford Motor Co. as Global Planning Manager, responsible for strategy planning. In 2004, he joined strategic consulting firm Carlisle & Co. as Partner, focused on the automotive industry specializing in areas of customer retention, aftersales, marketing strategies and distribution networks.
Mr. O’Hara holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Wheaton College, and a master’s degree in Finance from the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner College of Business.
A U.S. native, Mr. O’Hara is based in Yokahama, Japan.
